December has finally arrived and in Ricetown all of the Ricemonsters are decorating their trees and their homes! Download your free templates here. Then you can follow the simple steps below to make your own DIY Ricemonster tree ornaments! Step 1: You will need to print all of the templates that you like on white paper, you can decide to decorate your tree with a colour theme or simply make a few tree ornaments of each Ricemonster! You will also need a pair of scissors, a glue stick and some nylon thread. Step 2: Start by cutting out the nine different parts on the printable template, make sure you cut right along the edge of each shape! Step 3: Using a needle, make a small hole between the ears (at the top of the head) of your template and tie some nylon thread to it. This will hold your ornaments in the tree. Step 4: Fold each cut out circle in half. Step 5: The four blank templates will be used to make the back of the ornament, the other two blank pieces and pieces with a face will be at the front. Start by gluing half of a blank piece to the shape with ears or horns, then glue half of the face piece to that one, then the other half of the face, the second blank piece will be glued to the shape with ears. Repeat this on the back, glue the first piece to the main shape, then the second to that one, and so on until the fourth piece is glued to the main shape. Step 6: Repeat steps 2-5 to make your different Ricemonster tree ornaments.
