How to Plant a Tree
Happy Arbor day noofriends! Today is a special day to celebrate plants and wildlife and plant your very own tree. Riceananas has decided to plant a cherry tree in his backyard, he loves cherries!
Before planting a tree, can visit the Woodland Trust to find out how to plant trees, what types of trees grow where you live and much more! You can also visit your local garden centre to get some advice and find a nice tree to plant.
Riceananas has decided to plant a cherry tree from the seed, he is very patient. If you are not so patient, you can buy a tree that is already a few years old! Make sure you have all the right tools to dig, water and some soil to cover your plant.
Then, Riceananas dug a deep hole in his garden. A hole to plant a tree usually needs to be 2-3 times wide and deeper than the root ball of the tree you are planting.
Now, Riceananas has planted his seeds he will need to give them a lot of love and attention for them to grow!
Riceanans has been watering and tending to his plant almost everyday, and it is paying off. Maybe he will have cherries next year.
