DIY London Cake Toppers
This Saturday is the Queen of England's official brithday she will be 92 years old! The Ricemonsters are eager to celebrate this special brithday.
They will be trowing a street party in Ricetown center with bunting, cakes and tea! This week you will learn to make some DIY London themed cake toppers.
Download the template here and follow the instructions below to make your own DIY London Cake Topper! Materials:
For this DIY project you will need the printed template, some coloured pencils, some scissors, masking tape, toothpicks and some straws and cakes to decorate.
Step 1: You can start by colouring the cake on the template with some nice colours.
Step 2: You can also cut out the three characters on the page to make cake toppers. Make sure you cut carefully around the dotted lines.
Step 3: Now you can attach a toothpick on the back of the characters using some tape and use them to decorate a cake.
Step 4: You can also use the cut out characters to decorate some paper straws, all you need to do is attached them to the top of the straw with a bit of tape.
Did you know?
The Queen of England has two birthdays! Queen Elizabeth II was born on 21 April 1926, so that is her real birthday; she has an official Queen's birthday the second Saturday of June.
