DIY Tropical Party Scene
Make a tropical theme scene with Riceananas and Ricebamboo using this easy printable template and step by step instructions!
Summer is in full swing in Ricetown and all the Ricemonster are soaking it up! This week we have prepared a tropical themed Noodoll DIY.
It's easy, just download the printable template here and follow the instructions below to make your own tropical party!
Step 1: You will need the template downloaded and printed in colour on nice white paper, a pair of scissors, a glue stick, two toilet paper rolls; one of them cut in half.
Step 2: Start by cutting out all the different elements of the scene on your two papers. Make sure you cut along the edges leaving the tabs to stick down the characters.
Step 3: Your palm tree top needs a little extra attention, cut along the dotted lines on the leaf.
Step 4: Now you can make the rest of your palm tree. Put some glue along the flap on the palm print-out.
Step 5: You can add a bit of glue on your toilet paper roll (you will need to use the full one for the palm tree) and glue down the palm print onto the roll.
Step 6: To finish off you palm tree, slot the two leaves together where you cut in step 3. One goes on top and one under.
Step 7: Now you can make your Riceananas and Ricebamboo characters. Repeat step 4 and step 5 to glue the two printed characters onto the half toilet paper rolls. Make sure that you don't put any glue on their heads! They can even enjoy a bit of juice, you can stick their drink with a bit of paper tape or glue!
