DIY Pirate's Eye Patch
Ricehaddock is Ricetown's very own pirate; he loves to go on adventures at sea with his best friend Riceananas.
This week you can learn to make your very own pirate's eye patch to match Ricehaddock's and go on your own treasure hunting! To make your own patch, simply download your free template here and follow the instructions below! 
Step 1: For this DIY project you will need: the printed template and colouring page, coloured pencils, an elastic band or string, a pair of scissors and optionally a piece of felt or fabric.
Step 2: Colour in all the different drawings on the template. You can create a fun pattern on your eye patch template.
Step 3: Now, cut out the eye patch template by carefully cutting around the dotted line. 
Step 4: Once your eye patch is cut out, you can attach a piece of sting or an elastic to each end to tie it around your head.
Step 5: If you would like to make your eye patch in felt or a nice fabric, lay the paper template onto the fabric to trace around it.
Step 6: Repeat steps 3 and 4 to finish your fabric eye patch.
Tip: you can make your eye patch any colour or pattern that you like!
