We love making new friends.
We’ve been making them ever since our founder, Yiying, first sketched an idea for a cheerful doll-like character, made out of the comforting noodles and rice from her childhood in Taiwan.
That first little design got Yiying thinking…what if there was a world of characters, all with their own personalities and quirks, who celebrated friendship, inspired imaginations, looked stylish, and - because the world needs more cuteness - were super cute!
From these high hopes, both for the plushies we make and the way we make them, noodoll was born. Nearly two decades on, and friendship, imagination and sustainability remain our guiding lights.
Today, our lovingly made noodolls live all over the world. And that first drawing of a cute little friend gave us the name we have today: Noodles + Doll = Noodoll!
